I know first day of school seems valuable, but replacing this with a different spell or minion would make this deck wayy better, especially when you can cast it off of high abbess alura. RDU has a good list if you are looking for pure paladin
FDoS is not only an Alura enabler but is very important to get consistency on turn 2 Hand of A’Dal. There’s also huge highroll potential with Wand Thief, Tour Guide, Aldor Attendant, and a myriad of other solid 1-drops.
Pure Paladin needs early game consistency, and FDoS gets you on the board.
