Read the description below and learn how to play this deck to it’s full potential and hopefully reach Legend Rank with this deck.
Mulligan Guide
The most important cards are:
In a perfect world you’d start with all 3 cards in your hand but usually you get only 1-2 of these cards. Northshire Cleric should be the first one on the board for board control and an occasional draw and Power Word: Shield can give your minions that extra board control and a draw (for only 1 mana what?!). Against Aggro decks you should keep Duskbreaker and/or Tar Creeper.
Combo Deck Strategy Guide
From the start of the game you should keep control of the board and more importantly keep track of your Hero’s health against Aggro and Face decks. Wait and control the board until you have at least:
- 2 Divine Spirit
- 1 Inner Fire
- 1 High health minion like Nightscale Matriarch, Twilight Drake or Tar Creeper (Be careful with Twilight Drake, he should not be dropped on the board with at least 6-7 cards in your hand
If you don’t have 1 or 2 of the cards you can use Shadow Visions to get what’s missing.
Shadow Word: Death is to be used against big minions and taunts to clear the way for facing and for many small buffed minions or effect minions, you can debuff them with Mass Dispel.
Circle of Healing can be used in addition with Northshire Cleric and/or Nightscale Matriarch to draw cards or get that extra minion/s on the board.
After gaining all the necessary cards in your hand and all the board control, we get to the fun part of this deck, buff up one of your minions and face your opponent. (It’s important to face only if you’re going lethal which means don’t waste all your win conditions on a non-lethal face except if you’re sure your opponent doesn’t have a card which can quickly get rid of your minion like Polymorph or Shadow Word: Death etc.)
Card Replacements
If you don’t own or don’t have enough dust to craft Inner Fire you can use Topsy Turvy which is an OK card if used properly. As for the Dragons in this deck they have a lot of synergy and combo manipulation but instead of Duskbreaker you could potentially use Wild Pyromancer.
Hopefully this Guide helps you reach new Ranked heights and you have fun playing this Deck. ‘Till next time…
Did this guy ACTUALLY go to legend
Yes, I actually did go to Legend.
any version more expensive? maybe with lyra or shadowreaper anduin
There is a more expensive version of this deck coming soon…
If you don’t have enough dust to craft a common, you could disenchant Giggling after its nerf on the 18th.
Yes! That’s true I forgot about that nerf coming so I didn’t include anything about Giggling in this guide.
