Replacement for Forbidden Ritual? I’m using a Bog Creeper instead.
instead of alex do you have any suggestions ?
Not really, that’d be a pretty hard card to replace as it sets up the combo.
Jaraxxus. Better in control matchups (Priest/Warrior) because it’s a secondary win condition, can act as a defensive Alexstraza in aggro matchups if needed; worse than Alex overall especially in a C’thun meta but is an acceptable replacement. 20 damage burst as it stands (24 with abusive) is usually enough.
Why is Alex in this deck? Any replacement?
Alex is in this deck to setup for the Leeroy combo. There isn’t a really great replacement, that’s a big part of the deck.
Replacement for Lerooy? (Very good site by the way, i just discovered it !)
Thanks! You could try Reckless Rocketeer.
Or Wolfrider so that you can play the charge minion, Faceless, Abusive and Power Overwhelming in the same turn without necessarily having to reduce the cost of the combo with Emperor…does deal 4 less damage though
Hard to replace Leeroy in that deck since some other ressources are dedicated to the combo part of the deck (Faceless, Alex, PO). You can make a more standard Reno handlock without the combo and without Leeroy tho
Arcane Golem isn’t a thing anymore and Reckless Rocketeer is 6 mana so you need thaurissan effect on 2 cards instead of 1 to make it work
