Mulligans
Aggro Mulligans
Mad Scientist, Eaglehorn Bow and Bear Trap help you give hold to the aggro rush of your opponent.
Control Mulligans
Playing aggresively against control is the goal. Mad Scientists, King's Elekk, Webspinner and Animal Companion are what you want in your starting hand.
Midrange Hunter with strong beast synergy. Card draw and discover mechanics make sure you don’t run out of cards in the late game.
Only play Jeweled Scarab at turn 2 if you have no other 2 drop minion or Bear Trap. Try to save it for a combo with Brann Bronzebeard. Hunter has a great variety of different damage spells that cost 3 so keep that in mind when playing Jeweled Scarab.
Concerning Brann Bronzebeard you want to save him and play him together with (at least) one of the battlecry minions. Getting +4/+4 and taunt from Houndmaster or two beasts from Ram Wrangler can easily help you gain board control.
If you find the meta to be a bit more agressive than you like, consider replacing the second Tomb Spider for a second Ram Wrangler.
