General Mulligans
Divine Favor, Lay on Hands and Solemn Vigil are what you want to GUN for. This will literally help you win the game. Because you take damage before you heal you need to make sure you have the appropriate hp before you use each card. (I often find myself thinking I could use Lay on Hands when I have 8hp but that isn't true). The reason for these 3 cards is because Lay on Hands is literally a free card that draws 3. Solemn is a 5 hp draw 2 and because you're looking for an otk you don't need to care about hp that much. Divine favor is especially good if you are going 1st, you can easily burn through the cards in your hand then cast it and draw 5 more cards.A deck I came up with while trying to complete the “Play 50 Paladin cards” quest. Coincidentally it worked really well. So this deck is all about draws. If you’ve played Miracle Rogue before you’ll understand how important draws/combos are. I’ve won 30+ games within about 20-30mins (the duration the opponent takes to pick their cards is counted). This is a great way to farm coins cause you get 10 coins every 3 wins. if you go first each game is about 1-2mins or less depending on your computer/phone, internet speed, and how fast your opponent chooses his/her cards.
I’ll now explain the combos (just the combos to look out for then the actual tactics).
This mainly works if you are going second cause you can coin Southsea Deckhand and Light's Justice to give it charge turn 1 with the addition of summoning Patches the Pirate (assuming it’s not in your hands).
This is a use 2 health heal 6 health card that can easily be used to combo with nearly any card in the deck because 27/30 of the cards are spells that uses health.
If you managed to get this card early its a nice trade because you are using 6 health to deal 8 health which brings them down to 22 health to allow you to finish them off easier.
Now for the Overall Strategy.
It’s simple what you want in your hand to start with are cards that can draw, draw and draw. That’s it. You just gotta keep using your cards to deal damage to their face (such as Holy Wrath and Hammer of Wrath ) while drawing until you get all the necessary boost required to boost your minion. Don’t be stingy with Holy Light and Seal of Light. If you gain health out of those 2 cards then use them because if you accidentally drop your health too low you can no longer use those cards because you take damage before you get healed. Once you get your Patches the Pirate or Southsea Deckhand (ONLY boost if it has charge) then you can start boosting either one of them with Blessing of Might x2 and Seal of Champions x2 and Blessing of Kings x2 this will give your minion 20 more attack and if you can you can use Blessed Champion to finish it off. Most of the time I find myself not needing all of the cards. That’s because half of your cards that can draw deals damage itself anyway so most of the time you just need up to 20ish attack. (You also get +4 attack from Seal of Light ).
Blessing of Wisdom may seem useless but it’s actually an emergency card. For example if you are going second and you have both Southsea Deckhand and Patches the Pirate out and Southsea Deckhand has Charge you can put Blessing of Wisdom (yes they stack on the same minion) and use one of your minion to attack first to get 1-2 draws if you truly need it.
Edit : For the past few games Blessing of Wisdom has been a pain in my butt (as in it’s a dead card in my hand). So I’m currently trying out Divine Strength instead.
Possible replacements – You can replace Patches the Pirate with cards like Stonetusk Boar but if you do I recommend to remove one Southsea Deckhand for a second Stonetusk Boar. Light's Justice can be replaced with Muster for Battle Anything else is hard to replace. If you are only missing 1 Lay on Hands you can use Silvermoon Portal which isn’t as good but it’s alright for the boost.
I hope you guys have fun with this deck as much as I did!
