Zola is used to bounce one of the horsemen back into your hand. Just run a youthful brewmaster. The main reason people don’t run them is because CTA can pull them out which obviously you don’t want.
How do I play against this deck .. I cant seem to beat it .. clears the board, heals before I can rush it down, and once it gets to turn 9 Im out of cards and uther heals are too much. Help.
Nice, always tried to work Lynessa into the Thekal Shirvallah package. Will give it a try. Just wondering if there’s a world in which there can be those new guys that gain +4/+4 if you healed 8 or more that game?
Also I read a very interesting take on exchanging CTA for Crystology. I feel this archetype will develop more soon enough
Idk where did you read that Crystology can change CTA but i think it is pure crap… CTA is way better then Crystology, pulling 3 cards (minions) from your deck on the board is huge tempo and card draw… And what does crystology do, for 2 mana draws you two minons with 1 attack ( Kangor, Bloodmage and Protector) which remains in your hand… so conclusion is, CTA can’t be exchanged for Crystology because it’s way too slower… Cheers!
I personally prefer to run one of each. Getting both Wild Pyros off CTA can straight out lose you the game against swarm decks.
Crystology can pull out Kangor and Lynessa when needed. Shivalah + Kangor combo can virtually heal you up to full health. It was also better when the deck ran 2 Stonehill’s prior to the new expansion.
I regularly read the hearthstone pro reports on reddit and a high legend player laid out their thoughts about these 2 different approaches to drawing vs summoning minions with the deck in a very detailed and sensible way. Since I only play CTA I have no way of evaluating their findings yet. In any case there will be enough versions that will experiment, so it’s pretty comfortable for us whichever it’s gonna be.
Is there a good replacement for zola?

Ps. I’d swap a CTA for Crystology. Make sure you don’t play your CTA before you’ve got the youthful brewmaster in hand.
