Galvangar Control/OTK

The goal of the deck is to defend until being able to OTK, or to wear down the opponent to enable that play. A key idea is to draw through the deck as quickly as possible (via outrider’s axe and, when possible, also cutting class) while creating hand space as needed.

The deck has a positive win rate for me vs most classes (between diamond 5-1 and on legend, 15-8 over the last few days), except for paladin because of all its taunts. I personally don’t think it is just a meme. Captain Galvandar into faceless manipulator and battleground battlemaster is the main wincon (using to the front and Vanndar as needed), but there are other wincons via Mr Smite, Lothar and Rokara.

The deck does need practice and my first 4 games were messed up by bad combo order. Since then I’ve learn’t to play it better and its very rewarding. The deck has  done well for me vs control especially. Paladin is very hard to play against but in general I have found the deck idea  very fun and rewarding. I’ve been running bladestorm, which is weak vs paladin, so I’ve swapped it out for coerce.
