Welcome to a World of Beast-less Hunter! Wait what? how can that be so? why would you play hunter with little to none beasts when all the beast cards are so powerful?? Well with some new cards from Kobolds and a bit of RNG I have came up with a wacky deathrattle deck with HUGE tempo swing turns because of a few things…
First UP- The Legendary Kathrena Winterwisp. A crazy powerful late game card with an amazing ability to Pull Beasts from our deck into play, but not just some tiny ally cats, Huge Dinosaurs! King Krush makes a return with his pal Charged Devilsaur and those are they only Beasts in the deck to grantee that you will hit one off her trigger.
Second Up- Seeping oozeling gives me shivers how crazy strong this card is and how insane the possibility are. You can hit a few different things with the ability-
A Devilsaur egg, which gives you a solid 5/5 body on death
A Cairne bloodhoof- leaving behind his 4/5 friend
Katheren winterwisp- Giving you ether devilsaur or king krush
OR Meat waggon- Which by the text, summon a minion with less attack than this minion, can chain together some weird deathrattle effects. Ooze is a 5/4 so you could hit cairne off this, or just hit waggon or anything under 5 attack for just good board control.
Then there is the Wagon… naked meat wagon into egg is a good chain but we can do better… play a cobalt the next turn and it suddenly starts attacking for more and grabbing bigger creatures… goes unchecked and who knows, wagon could be spawning kathrena or devilsaur it’s self!
I want to wrap things up with when writing this list and purposely not picking beasts it left the 2 drop slot wide open so I figured why not run the most meta defining card at the moment good ol’ Prince Keleseth. Goes great with waggon, egg, any early plays, Patches, so hell why not.
Anyway let me know what you guys think and hope you take care.
