Mulligans
General Mulligans
Love everlasting is plain good, herald of light should be a choice early on. Everything else is low mana early game tools.
Five different types of minions, five different boy band members. Match made in heaven.
Anywho, this deck centers around the new overheal mechanic. When a minion with overheal is healed past their max, they activate an effect. This deck is centered around the low cost healing spells that allow for you to trigger these effects as often as possible. Thankfully, priest comes with its hero power, lesser heal. Lesser heal will allow you to heal anything on the board for 2 health, not enough to make a huge difference, but twice than you need to trigger your overheal effects on a minion with full health.
This deck has its main boss monster, Heartbreaker Hedanis. And this powerful performer packs a punch, upon being overhealed he will deal 5 damage to a random enemy. Use cards like flash heal, that heal 5 health or more so that your weaker healing magic can trigger the effect in the same turn. Use power chord: Power Chord: Synchronize to add more copies of Heartbreaker Hedanis to your hand.
Arguably the biggest resource you have, Crimson Clergy is fantastic here. Play him turn 1 whenever you can, and overheal him turn 2 with the hero power. Card advantage is helpful in this deck, especially with so many low mana cost spells.
Another thing to keep in mind is Heartthrob, he is so jaw droppingly gorgeous that he can summon a minion with a cost equal to whatever you overheal him by. Which in many cases is a lot. Specifically Cannibalize is a crazy tool for him, as you can kill a 7-8-9 health minion and get something crazy out of it. Don’t be afraid to use Power Chord: Synchronize on whatever you summon its battlecry will help you advance the game.
Also do whatever you need to do to keep love everlasting going. It’s so good. Use it for the higher cost spells.
