New Shudderwock OTK

Do you love control decks but hate Archivist Elysiana endless fatigue games ? I sure do (and I mean, I HATE it), so I tried to give control shaman an OTK win condition for slow matchups.

During the game, play Omega Defender x2 + Coppertail Imposter. Your Shudderwock will come down as a 26/6 stealth minion, which is basically impossible to kill for most decks. On next turn, you can then go Windfury on it for 52 face damage.

That’s the base of the combo, but depending on the matchup you may also need Twilight Drake‘s battlecry to make Shudderwock really resilient (in particular vs warriors’ Dyn-o-matic) as well as Earth Shock to bypass taunts (or alternatively Hex and zap or Lightning Bolt).

The rest are classic Control Shaman tools. Don’t get too fixated on the combo, in most matchups a straight-up control plan is more than enough to win the game (and most of the combo pieces are okayish cards against aggro if you just play them on curve). I believe the combo itself shouldn’t come down too early in slow matchups either, since some decks may have what it takes to counter it if you haven’t depleted their resources first (Warriors have Brawl). It’s really meant to close fatigue matchups quicker than Archivist Elysiana would.

In building this type of deck, I find it really hard to figure out the proper mix of control resources to handle agression, and card draw to get to the combo, so your comments are much welcome !
