Keep Water Elemental with Elemental Evocation.

The Idea is to create tempo or draw advantages by playing spells. One of the draw combo is to play Gadgetzan Auctioneer and Sorcerer's Apprentice into a bunch of 1 cost spells to find lethal or to create a big board.
Just trying out a potential mage deck, so far it plays out pretty good. If the post keeps getting upvotes will update the list as i make changes to it.
Potential card additions
The deck still has rooms for improvements and also for card substitution some which are :
- Banana Buffoon – Even though its a 3 mana 2/2 body it gives two 1 mana spells to buff up minions as well as to fuel the Gadgetzan Auctioneer.
- Chef Nomi – What i think the deck lacks is an end game win condition which can be achieved with Chef Nomi but unlike Rogue, Priest or Druid, Mage has no way to copy Chef Nomi to replay it again.
I like the deck, but I feel like Elemental Invocation is just a completely dead card until the auctioneer is drawn? Wouldn’t it be better to use the 0 mana freeze spell? Can get you out of a desperate pinch, but still provide power for Auctioneer?
(Although I play wild and that card might be in wild I realize)
Yea that card is wild, sometimes against aggro warrior and tempo rogue Elemental Invocation into turn 2 Water Elemental can outright win you games but the chances of having both the cards in your opening hand is pretty slim and also am running Zephrys now so Elemental Invocation has synergy with that also. Will update this list pretty soon.
This was just a theorycraft i had long back but when i tested it out the deck was performing pretty well. So there is still a lot of room for improving this deck, if you think something is not right then make the necessary changes and post it. I would like to see your version as well 🙂
I’ll see if I make it, my wild miracle mage has always used spare part cards.
I completely agree with the Water Elemental Potential.
I am a pretty new player so i dont know about a lot of wild cards but any cheap spells will be good, talking which i think Banana Buffoon will be a good addition to this deck.
Looks like a fun deck. Any reason you havnt included Luna? She kinda acts as a mini, cheaper auctioneer
The deck can draw fast most of the time so i didnt think it needed Luna for the draw but am thinking about running Zephrys. If you test with Luna do let me know.
