General Mulligans

Mulligan for the combo and  Mad Scientist. You don't need to keep board clears or draw cards because every non-combo draw will be one of those. Keep scientist because Ice Block carries this deck, and you'd rather spend 1 mana on it than 3.

The infamous Exodia Mage combo (Archmage Antonidas, double Sorcerer's Apprentice, double Molten Reflection) is a lot easier to pull off when most of the pieces cost 1 mana. Faceless Manipulator acts as a cheaper copy of Molten Reflection, and all the “Battlecry: Draw a card” cards cost 1 mana, so it’s that much easier to draw all your pieces. Everything in the deck is there to either assemble your combo or clear the board.

Kudos to your opponent if they’re actually running deathlord or dirty rat in this format.

This is hillarious. Played about 50 games with this deck and lost maybe 2.
