Hello everyone!
Before we begin, I want you to know that English isn’t my first language so please forgive me for any misspellings or grammatical errors
The main goal of this deck is to summon as many copies of Selfish Shellfish as possible then, in late game, to cast Xyrella, the Devout and generate enough fatigue damage to kill your opponent!
This deck is a really good option if you want to have fun while climbing. I personaly climbed from Rank 5 to Legend in one day using it!
Several tips :
Selfish Shellfish +Whispers of the Deep are a pretty good combo that randomly dealt 7 damage to enemy minions. Combining it with Condemn would clear almost any board your opponent might have (Cast Condemn first in this case).
Casting Illuminate then trading will instantly get you the spell reduced card!
Illuminate have excellent synergies with : Lightbomb (powerful aoe for 3 mana), Amulet of Undying , Switcheroo and Azsharan Ritual
Lightbomb and shadow word:ruin are very efficient against Druid (the infamous naga 8/8!) and Paladin but you can also use them to destroy your Selfish Shellfish the turn before casting Xyrella, the Devout
One of the upside of this deck is it’s not particularly well known. You can actually use that to your advantage by baiting your opponent into killing Selfish Shellfish. If you don’t silence it, most opponents won’t suspect a thing and kill the Selfish Shellfish to draw two cards. Which will only make the effect of Xyrella, the Devout stronger!
Your only truly difficult match up here is Quest Warrior (very strong in this new meta). As for Mage Mech, Paladin Mech, Druid, Rogue and the others, you have pretty good match up. Just be careful to not waste your aoe, use them as efficiently as possible and you should be fine!
Mulligans:
Cards to keep when playing versus aggro match up:
Condemn, gift of the naru , Illuminate , Switcheroo , Handmaiden , you can keep also Selfish Shellfish and Whispers of the Deep if you have the coin in hand.
Cards to keep when playing versus more slower decks (Druid for example):
any draw engine cards 🙂 ! like Handmaiden or tradeable cards
SPECIAL MULLIGAN TIP!
Always mulligan agressively against Priest. If your opponent play Aggro Combo Priest and you land Shard of the Naru then it’s almost auto win
