Mulligans
Hi guys, Maleficivm here.
I have been playing with Order in the Court Paladin a lot, trying to refine the deck. I ended up with this version, which I dare to say is the best paladin deck I have played so far in Maw and Disorder. The deck does not have a high legend rank along it, because I am refining other unorthodox decks, and that takes a toll on your ranking 🙂 But when I need to win, I switch to this, and two or three games later (depending on how unlucky I am this day) , boy does it start to deliver. Anyhow, what did I find:
1. The Jailer sucks – I am sorry guys. I tried. I really did. Sire Denathrius is just so much better. Put an end to your misery and switch it to Denathrius.
2. Lightray – Why? You do not want to draw your Cariel faster? I do.
3. Amber Watcher over any other 5 drop – let me tell you, this guy is adorable. It fits perfectly in this deck. Just try it and you will be amazed to find how many decks are actually trying to smorc you down. Obviously, it is better played after Cariel (and If possible, with Brann).
4. Ram Commander – As far as I`m concerned, this is one of the best 2 drops in the game. You don`t believe me? Try it.
5. Ivus – The best 6 mana play in the game, besides an infused Sylvanas. You can also use him on 10 mana for a 13/13 with rush, divine shield and taunt? Why is no one playing this again?
How do you play the deck? – Order in the court. You mulligan for Order in the court. If not, you try to discover Order in the Court. Order in the court.
That being said, I just won a game against hunter after drawing 25 cards without Order in the court. That is how well the other cards in this deck work.
When you hopefully find your Order in the court, you:
1. Instantly draw your Denathrius and start to infuse him.
2. Draw your Cariel immediately after, because you are not playing stupid Lightrays.
3. Draw your Leviathan and dredge into a Holy Maki Roll. Wanna show your opponent what a true desperation means? How about healing for 40?
4. This one is very important. If you ever sense your opponent is trying to outvalue you, play Brann + Bronze explorer + Amalgam on the explorer. Many have tried. Nothing can outvalue that.
That`s about it guys. I personally feel this Paladin deck may be tier 1. On the downside, it could be very complicated to play, so take some time to learn it. More unorthodox decks coming soon. Have fun!
