Mech Mage is back!

In the new, heavy style!

The deck reasonably strong, and there are also weaknesses.

On mulligan always keep: Galvanizer and Book of Specters.

I tried and didn’t like too much: ExplodinatorMissile LauncherSkaterbot.

Revisions
Removed Luna's Pocket Galaxy, Faceless Rager, Cairne BloodhoofArcane IntellectStargazer Luna.
Added Daring Fire-EaterSpellbreakerLoot Hoarder.

Last UPD: according to the the experience of commentators removed one Safeguard and both Loot Hoarders; added Mecharoo and one Arcane Intellect.

Tips:

    • The power of the deck in magnetizing mechs.
    • So you need to stick any mech to the board.
    • Play in midrange style to commit that.
    • Try to make some strong moves in early game: reduce cost with Galvanizer to boost up in mid game, get more options with Book of Specters and fight for board with Upgradeable Framebot
    • Surely play SN1P-SN4P on turn 3 if you have follow ups.
    • Remember about Khadgar combos. All minion-summoning deathrattles trigger twice with him. Use it to make giants cheaper or summon two 7/7 out of Mechanical Whelp
    • And of course Conjurer's Calling combos. Conjing Mechanical Whelp with Khadgar summons two 7/7 and four 6 drops. You can also use Conjurer's Calling to kill opponent’s minions.
    • Be aware of silence / transformation / returning / poison effects.
    • Don’t rush Zilliax to early in aggro matches, try to get more heal.
    • You can consider adding Harvest Golem, Explodinator, Voodoo Doll.

Posted a variant of this back in April, glad to see a pro endorsing it.

Atm I’m using a Lunas pocket Galaxy variant, super good fun and reasonably effective too.

i’ve tried Mecharoo and adding 2 AI in for more hand fill to not get exhausted and i see it work great. I replaced 1 Safe guard and 1 loot hoarder for 2 AI. Good deck!

These changes are added to the deck.

I have been using a very similar version of this deck and have obtained legend rank from rank 5 using it, I personally think that Safeguards should be replaced with arcane intellect and fire-eaters should be replaced with mecharoos.

        Congrats!
I got to rank 2 and felt confident that the deck is able to conquer the legend. But now stopped playing, not enough time.
At first I played with Arcane Intellect but then replaced it with Loot Hoarders. Probably should follow your list and put AI back.
I agree about Safeguards – they can be repalced.
Not sure about Fire-Eaters – it seems that they are useful.
Thanks for the comment, I will add your considerations to the description!

Dont you think Mecharoo should be better than daring fire eater ?? or maybe some minions can add value back to your hand like Evil cable rat or Messenger Raven. Cause i some time get problem with long game while playing with zoolock or midrange hunter

In my view Evil Cable Rat or Messenger Raven don’t fit the deck. If you face lack of value consider adding Archmage Arugal.
However, I think the true problem in matchups against Mid Hunter and Zoo Lock is to be found elsewhere 🙂
And you can try Mecharoo. I tested it but didn’t like too much. In this case replace Safeguards.
I think that Daring ire Eater is useful in this deck.

Agree, w/khadgar and CC as standard, adding in Janalai is wortj it for an additional win condition.

Adding Janalai might be right if you often have to play in the late-game against slow opponents.
The outcome of my games was often determined until the late-game, though.
