What you want to do is shadow essence out your Mecha'thun, or Gadgetzan Auctioneer, so you can get him killed or draw lots of cards. This decks goal is to draw its deck, then, when it gets to the last two cards in its hand, you play twilight’s call, get back mecha’thune, then spirit lash or holy smite him, which should kill him and win you the game.

So the big issue is that you cant easily dump your hand consistently where if you look at warlock or druid they can do that example, even lock can easily draw the whole deck and win with making thun 8 mana and the spell that makes it so your next spell costs health instead of mana and you play cataclysm, druid has the ramp to get the mana they need faster but not dump out their hand depending on whats in there then they can play normal thun mana innervate and naturalize. So basically thats what i can see the 2 decks play thun the best (right now in theory) but priest is like saying mage can make an otk deck
I agree with you but honestly a think warlock will be better with mechathun because against druid you can just play a minion every turn and your opponent cannot win with mechathun combo.
There may be a problem with cast shadow word pain/death if u play against aggro/big deck.

To shadow essence a mechathun you need to have one in your deck and even if you draw it how can you play it with all other cards in hand.
I mean you could technically play twilight call on a dead mechathun but that means you had to play a 10 10 at one point in time and a 9 mana do nothing soo this isnt gona work .
You shadow essence the methacthun, which then dies, and is resummoned by twilight’s call at the end of the game. Then you kill it with spirit lash and the deathrattle should trigger.

Ah, I mistook the playing a 10/10 part as needing to play mechathun for it to counted as have died. I just realized a player must play it to empty out their hand.
Yeah wouldn’t work cause of the weapon but other than that looks legit lol
this wont work you have to have an empty deck hand and battlefield for cthun to proc the ress makes no sense
another point: IF you plan to OTK with Cthun – DK Anduin makes absolutely zero Sense

On 8 turn play 5-5 thun from SE. waste all decks through auctioneer afterwards.
And finish game with twilight call and spirit lash.
Truth be told it is insanely opportunistic idea…
And kill 5-5 thun with swd obv.
It will be rough when ‘thun is turned into a sheep.
