My general gameplan is a more aggressive version of the scavenger token gameplan. I replaced the taunt minions with other wide minions and buffs that come down just a little bit earlier. Against aggressive decks, I fight for board by going wide and keep them at bay until they run out of resources. Against control, I try to slam down wide sticky boards until they can’t clear, then finish them over 1 or 2 turns.
Card Choices:
Microtech Controller and Explodinator fit the gameplan very well by going wide early and creating a looming threat for your opponent. Microtech Controller also serves as a decent early game counter to odd paladin and even shaman, to go along with your swipes and spellstones. If your opponent is low on health, Explodinator creates some confusing situations because they are unsure if they should leave your bomb tokens up or take face damage by exploding them.
Replicating Menace is generally a solid card and does some interesting things in this deck. Most importantly, it gives you one more mechanism to create a sticky board. The 3 1/1s it leaves behind are not as strong as Soul of the Forest’s treants, but are still very annoying and can be a big threat in the right situation. Menace also allows you to build up, by magnetizing to a bomb or microbot or allowing you to push some extra charge damage.
I only have 1x Power of the Wild currently, but it feels strong most of the time. Since you are typically going wide early, buffing up your wisps, microbots, and bombs can be game winning against aggressive decks.
