Mulligans

This deck uses the Boomsday Eureka! – Malygos combo. However, the new Totemic Smash now enables a 30 damage OTK. Not to mention the addition of Krag'wa, the Frog, which can allow for another 30 damage. First let’s dive into the combo.

First, you must have Malygos in hand and must be the ONLY minion in hand. Then play Eureka! which will summon a copy of Malygos. Then play double Totemic Smash followed by double Lightning Bolt (order is not important). This will deal a total of 7+7+8+8=30 damage.

However, if this is not enough (e.g. in a matchup against a tanked up warrior), this is where Krag'wa, the Frog comes in. Play him on your next turn to return all your spells used in the combo back to your hand. Then the turn after, you have another shot of dealing an additional 30 damage.

I believe Spirit of the Frog will work really nicely in this deck allowing you to tutor for your combo pieces. Play Spirit of the Frog into Zap! to quickly draw a Totemic Smash or Lightning Bolt. The card is also really versatile and does NOT have to be used to draw combo pieces, and instead can be used for mere value by drawing ordinary spells. For example, play Spirit of the Frog into Haunting Visions into a Hex, while also discovering a useful spell from Haunting Visions. The plays are limitless.

You can also use Firetree Witchdoctor and Haunting Visions to acquire a tonne of resources and perhaps discover extra combo pieces. Try to discover face damaging spells (Lightning Bolt, Totemic Smash, Frost Shock or Lava Burst) with these cards to combo with the second Eureka!.

Hope you enjoyed this theorycraft 🙂

EDIT: Replaced Krag'wa, the Frog with Storm Chaser

I realised that Krag'wa, the Frog cannot in fact work in this deck as Eureka! may pull it instead of the Malygos during the combo turn. Therefore, I added Storm Chaser to tutor for Eureka! or perhaps even Volcano, if needed.
