valera is mainly used in this deck for stalling another turn and not neccesarily for the value (Though it can get very handy too).. There are not a lot of cards, apart from the ones that are already in the deck, that can do that. So I would try and add more defensive cards… normally a tar creeper would be just fine but in this deck you want to put as little minions in as possible because of Kobold illusionist. So maybe try a cheapshot for wider boards or a betrayal for *thiccer* boards 😉
