Glad you like it ! It hase been a long time since I try to build a viable elemental mage, in fact since Ungoro came out. I tried many decks, in the first versions I ran 2 steam surger. I decided to replace them by phoenix because even if Steam surger looks better (better stats, better value thanks to the spell and the 1/2) in fact it’s not because it’s too slow, you have to pay 2 mana to deal 2 damage so you can’t deal them on turn 4 while you play the body 5/4. Steam surger would be a great card in a more punchy deck which isn’t viable atm. In this deck your goal is to control the board until you play big threats and phoenix is better in this role.
