I just don’t think Azalina is strong in the Odd version of Control Warrior. It doesn’t do anything against Shudderwock Shaman as there are no armor gain battlecries (imo that’s the main reason to even play Azalina). I’ve seen some comments that it’s good against Togwaggle Druid, which again is not true. Any decent togwaggle player will wait against Control Warrior until they have the Togwaggle + Azalina in one turn combo (enabled by DreamPetal Florist). Then, even if you Azalina their hand and get a togwaggle they will just azalina you back and have another one. The only time where I can see Azalina being good is against Control Lock with Rin, however what like to do is play 2 Ironbeak Owl (this also helps against tough matchups like Rattle Hunter and Taunt Druid) and just hit the rin when it comes down. I would rather play the odds of having owl when they rin they play an overall worse card in my deck personally. If you disagree, I’d love to hear why.

I’ve been playing a similar version of this deck for the past week. It has great win rates against most decks except a random mecha’thun and it has for me, a 12 percent win rate against Deathrattle hunter.
I don’t understand the purpose of Zola in this deck, probably i am missing a point or two. Anyway, would Ysera be a good replacement for Elise?
Mmm not really. Elise is supposed to be there for fatigue. And Zola for the same purpose. Bounce a copy of Elise back to your hand for added value.

Mostly Togwaggle counter, I think.

No it doesn’t. This deck doesn’t play any armor gain battlecries so the azalina does nothing against Shudderwock Shaman
can steal lock hands as well, especially if they using Rin
