Mulligans
General Mulligans
These would be my personal choices on what to Mulligan for in general. Shadow Visions can get you spells quicker, Dragon Soul and Netherspite Historian can get you more Dragons to use, Priest of the Feast and Radiant Elemental can synergise for quick heals, and Skulking Geist to take care of those pesky 1 cost spells so frequently used by Jade Druid and Highlander Priest.
A Dragon Priest made with some new cards from Kobolds and Catacombs, as well as some great set pieces. Cry havoc, and let loose the dragons of war!
First off, Dragon Soul is normally a good card. It summons 5/5 Dragons and is only 3 mana to use. Fairly good deal. But what’s better than Dragon Soul? Lyra’s Priest of the Soul, that’s what! What I mean is:
1. Play Priest of the Feast.
2. Play Lyra the Sunshard.
3. Equip Dragon Soul.
4. Cast a spell.
5. Become Jesus.
By the time the turn is over, you ‘ll have regained a lot of health, have more spells to repeat the cycle, and a board nearly full of 5/5 minions. What is not to love about this?
And it gets better! Ysera is here with more spells, more Dragons and more fun! The Dream Cards can get you superb effects, including buffing a minion by +4/+4, a cheaper Dragonfire Potion and a 7/6 minion for 4 mana. Combine this with the board presence made by Dragon Soul’s, well dragons and Priest of the Feast and you have a very powerful force.
But wait! There are no 1 mana cards! That’s where this little thing comes into play. With a sacrifice of 6 mana, you can crush a Jade Druid’s hopes and dreams, stop the shenanigans of a Highlander Priest and throw a spanner in the works of Archmage (AHA!)Antonidas’ fireball dreams, all with no detrimental effect on yourself! Granted, you still have no 1 cost minions to use either, but with board clears, Dragons and removal, surely we can make that compromise?
