Went 10-1 with this deck, all games within top 1,000 legend. I think I’ve found the best form of control warrior. Please test this out and let me know if you are coming up with similar positive results.
Update: Cut Weapons Expert for Far Watch Post. This is a change more specific to high legend decks (targeting miracle rogue and spell dh), I would recommend Weapons Expert anywhere else.
I forgot to include this in the description but more often than not you will end up winning before you pay Kazakusan. This deck is more focused on controlling the board than killing your opponent through duels treasure; Kazakusan is only a relevant card in attrition matchups. But in attrition matchups it is by far your best card, so that’s why it’s here.
I’ve found incredible success with this deck. DIsclaimer, I’m a longtime warrior fan, so I am pretty familiar and comfortable with how these sorts of decks work. I took this deck all the way from early platinum to high diamond, and will probably be able to snag legend at the rate I’m going. This deck seems to really find success against big spell mage. The 5-mana disruptor minion does wonders in that matchup, and also finds a good spot against concoction rogue. I love the card choices, nothing feels useless or out of place. I was initally sceptical of Kazakusan, especially since you’d mentioned it’s only really great against other attrition style decks. This is true! However, it STILL doesn’t feel bad to have it in the deck against matchups where it won’t matter. The card draw is strong, I love forged in flame to help draw out Kazakusan treasures to close out a game. This deck is truly so much fun since I get to trash on burn decks and still win! Props to you man, this is very well done.
