General Mulligans
These are the best choices to mulligan for. Mana tide and Twilight Elder only if you have the coin.
Mistress of mixtures is a great 1 drop body. It rewards you by being able to take early damage using your weapon and recovering from it. It should always be used as an early play card where possible. It's not something I use to rely on late game healing. That instead comes from Jinju.
Brann is also a card to mulligan for if you have the coin and a weapon in hand because he triggers the weapon battlecry and provides massive early tempo for your jade golems.
Instead of using mass overload cards the focus is more on Jade and C’Thun build up, only using overload for removal. There are some big taunts in this deck to protect cthun minions and the new 4/5 taunt is an excellent substitute for feral spirits and without 2 overload. I was thinking of adding 2 but we have plenty of taunt so jinju is the better option. If you find yourself low on health combine jinju with brann, otherwise use brann with jade claws. The battlecry effect actually works on the weapon which still amazes me in a happy way 🙂
Just want to say. I’m on a massive win streak with the deck right now. The minions are so sticky that it quickly overwhelms opponents. Cthun as a finisher in a jade deck seem to be a match made in heaven!
