Lotus is strong both early and lategame, spirit is the imo weakest of the jade cards and not a great 4 drop against aggro. Spirit is good against slower decks or at 10 mana with either jade behemoth or aya.
I have to say this deck is actually quite fun to play. You tailor your play to your opponent, concentrating on ramp if they are slower than you or board control if they are fast. You get all the benefits of jade against control, plus you have cards to compete for the early board. I’m finding the hardest matchups to be murloc paladin, where unless you get out your Druids of the Swarm early, they build faster than you can control, and secret mage, which always seems to draw the perfect cards against me. Highlander Priest is about even.
I reached legend with this deck. I have to say both cards improve winrate pretty much. You can’t replace fandral bc his unique effect so he is pretty mandatory. U can replace the dk with an ancient of war maybe, or a bog creeper but it will decrase winrate as well.
Just hit legend with this list today. A much more exotic version of druid that actually allows you to contest the board early which is game-winning in this meta.
Great counter to tempo rogue and Pirate Warrior. About 50/50 chance to beat Highlander Priest. Very difficult to beat shaman unless you can gollakka their pirates and draw well. If you can’t kill his Mana Tide totem or clear his board later in the game you just lose. I played big priest 4 times and didn’t lose a single game. Mid-range hunter can be quite difficult. Zoolock is 50/50 but you should be favored against control Warlock.
It actually works even before the KFT expansion. I ran a weaker version before the expansion and got decent results. About a 69% win rate. Not sure about the current meta though. One way to find out…
I find the deck very nice but I can’t understand why we play double lotus and not double spirit.

Any sub for Frandral and the DK?

Great deck for my rank

just wow
Does it work?
worked for JAB. not sure about the rest 😛
Worked for me, reached legend. The good thing is u can play aggro and control as well while other meta decks can do only one playstyle.
