I had someone use youthful brewmaster on the legendary that gives you the 40 health, sorry for got the name of the card. Anyways, it was pretty killer.
I’ve tried really hard the last two seasons to make a quest priest deck work, but it’s been a difficult and frustrating experience. Early aggro is a killer and quest rogue is near impossible to beat. I can’t imagine this deck fares much better and I won’t waste any more time trying to play it. However, I do love the concept of the deck and hope with some modifications that eventually it could be viable. My opinions on some of the cards:
(1)Volatile element- I can’t imagine this is any good, unless you get another one out from Mirage caller. Take the pirate warrior matchup for instance. You play this t2 and he smacks it with a hook. The deathrattle kills off either the 1/1 First mate or Patches. That’s a big loss of tempo, one which you probably won’t come back from. Same vs any other aggro deck.
(2)Dirty rat- Without a Doomsayer, this seems like kind of an awkward play too. You risk pulling out way too many dangerous cards from the opponent, without much of an answer for them. Sure you can possibly throw off a quest rogue, but the odds are against you.
My replacements are:
x2 Doomsayers – You’re playing for the long game and this is a perfect foil to early aggro buildup. Great tempo play too if you’re keeping the quest. T1 quest. T2 doomsayer. T3 deathrattle. Only downside is it could be useless in late turns vs other control decks, but you can usually squeeze it into a turn before then. Against aggro though, between this vs a rat/volatile on T2, I think it’s a no brainer.
x2 Corrupted healbot – Again, you’re not trying to bust your opponent down, you’re playing for the long game, so the deathrattle practically has no downside to it because chances are your opponent is close to or at max life when it triggers. The benefits are: big body 6/6 for 5 mana, it satisfies the deathrattle condition, what would you rather see Nzoth spawn late game-this or a 2/1 loot hoarder? (bonus: will draw out hex from Shaman and possibly save your Bloodhoof)
Quest priest is far too weak at the moment. Don’t bother crafting any of it. You could try it out if you already have the cards of course. 7 deathrattles is just too many as most of them are really bad. You won’t have your quest until turn 10 at best, by which time murlocs, pirates and 1 mana 5/5s have killed you.
I highly disagree with that statement. As an experienced priest player as myself could tell from experience, i’ve been been destroying murladins and aggro decks with the shadow visions combo to get dragon fire potion or the elise pack to extend the game into the later phase. A good example of the power of quest priest is that I was able to eventually win vs a cancer murladin which had 4 tirions from legendary defenders and getaway kodos, but with all of my removal, I was able to win the game, where other classes would have struggled with the 4 ash bringers…. So Quest priest is alright. Late game counters quest rouge, and basically all other control decks. At best late game, You are able to get 3 elise packs(15 extra cards) for even more value late game.
It’s just not very consistent and the deathrattle minions are far too weak to survive a good aggro draw. Anyway you can check vS stats. Deathrattle priest does not exist for a reason.

I’ve made better quest priests. Regardless it’s not good enough for ladder
not really, too slow for aggro, not controlly enough for Quest Rogue, Control Pala, Jade Druid etc…
legit?
I can see some viability in Legend, but in normal ladder it’s too slow.
