The essential cards to draw are Topior, Jerry Rig Carpenter, or Capture Coldtooth Mine. The other cards just have the chance to either help you get Topior out faster, or get cards that can acquire Topior. Best in Shell and Moonlit Guidance are solid for another chance to get Topior/Topior Tutor or things that speed up the process of playing Topior.

This thing looks expensive but two of the mythics are free(Faelin, Renethal) and Guff Runetotem can be dropped. If you want to drop Runetotem add another Force of Nature. If you can go all out I would drop one of the Raid Negotiators for Lost in the Park but I couldn’t afford it. I built this deck for only about 4,000 essence but I already had Topior, so if you haven’t built a deck for a while but have been playing battlegrounds(like me) you may have enough for this solid deck that I’ve been tearing through bronze and silver with. The idea is you have to start with Jerry Rig, Capture Coldtooth, or Topior for your Topior wincon. You just ramp until you cast Topior and then constantly flood your warband with 3/3 whelps. If you have Guff Runetotem out at this time he will combo off very hard dropping a lot of +2/+2’s. If you are forced to play into the late game Faelin and Wildheart Guff will be help. Wildheart Guff will allow for massive turns that fill the board with 3/3’s and Faelin will add Colossal creatures to your deck that Aquatic Form, Jerry Rig Carpenter, and Capture Coldtooth can fetch. Most games I aim to get Topior out ASAP and then either extend the game late to play for Colossals or end with a large whelp swing. This deck’s worst matches are against speedy decks with turn 4 or 5 kills. Earthen scales, Mark of the Wild, and Thorngrowth can extend these matches a couple turns until your whelps can constantly keep you at a creature advantage. Against board wipe decks, make sure to only put out a few whelps each turn until they use most of their wipes.
