Seems quite interesting but i wonder how the deck performs in the current meta…..like how are you able to beat a squire into totemgolem into totemgolem into tuskarr opening other then with an early doomsayer?
Same with hunter openings.
Even if you play your mountain giant / twilight drake turn 4 (or 3 with coin into drake) they will hex / deadly shot it and then you are so far behind on the board that it will be difficult for you to come back (especially since the taunted molten giants are gone).
Any thoughts on this?
And maybe add 1 or 2 shadowflames for a secure boardclear?
Hunter is hard to counter, and shaman. Molten giant is sometimes the best way for both since they are both aggro decks. ancient watcher is pretty good, and also, imp gang boss is some of the best ways to counter hunter and shaman 😀
Early doomsayer is quite likely compared to the unlikely possibility of the perfect curves you describe. So I’d say that ‘apart from an early doomsayer’ is an unnecessary concern.
Thoughts on -1 Faceless Manipulator +1 Jaraxxus? I feel like there aren’t enough targets for two faceless and jaraxxus lets you faceless shambler on infernals, which is pretty good value for games where you can’t otk with combo.
Jaraxxus is kinda useless in this deck, the 2 power overwhelmings and the 2 faceless are to combo with leeroy for lethal. I believe an alexstrasza is a much better option for this fast combo handlock deck.
Since this is a fast comob deck, the 2 faceless manipulator is for the leeroy combo. I think there are not enough matchups where you cannot combo to justify jaraxxus. Alex for the mass damage and more immeadiate effect is simply better.

i got excited about handlock. its just a slow combo deck. gah. i miss moltens
They are still pretty good, mwon me about 3 games in 9, vs hunter and shaman and a mage eithiut enough burst.
Replacement for the second faceless shambler please!
Defender of Argus might fit.
