A bit of a new take on Patron…More Combo eeeee.

Main goal is to use self harm tactics (like any regular patron deck), but with an extra push for face. Axe flinger has the potential for 10 dmg, Frothing Berserker can hit for a lot, and Grim Patron can create a sticky board. The deck uses Wild Pyromancer as another self harm tactic and with the right cards, can really go off. The deck is a bit versatile in that it can handle early pressure like most warriors would, using weapons and armorsmiths along with a wild pyro if needed, or you can hold your hand to go off big against control after a Emporor Thaurissan drop with a full hand.

Key Combos:

– Wild Pyro + Commanding Shout + Spells: great board clear while keeping your side slightly alive. Activates all your self harmers. Even better after Thaur.

– Axe Flinger + Bouncing Blade on an empty board is 10 to the face.

– Commanding shout + bouncing blade: clears an enemy minion, while keeping your board and activating your self harmers.

This deck is super fun. One of the most fun I’ve had with a deck in a long time.

The problem with patrons since the warsong nerf is that your opponent has 10x the time to kill you before you pick all the card to put in place the patron combo.

This is without taking into account all “board clears” that exists in the game… 3 dmg to all your minions is not difficult to do …. and when that happens, say Sayonara to your patrons.

What happens if you have an empty board with just axe flinger, commanding shout and bouncing blade?

I would think nothing, as you’re prevented from going below 1, and you can only proc when you actually take damage.
I’m more worried that the blade would just bounce forever, until the timer ran out.
But more than likely Bouncing Blade won’t be allowed to activate in the first place, with no valid target (ie something that can in fact be killed).
