you must keep in general this cards in the muligan, alley cat is the best curve start plus kindly grandmother you can keep cracking razormaw only if you already have alleycat or if you have kindly grandmother in the hand already and you goes second in order to play coin kindly mother then Razormaw, Golakka Crawler is good 2 drop cause 3 health works very well vs warrior(pirate), rogue and druid(aggro) cause all of this 3 classes run pirates also helps a lot to compete for the board.
Hi i’m Hooligan a hearthstone pro player i reached 3 times top 1 legend and 4 times top 10 legend, I did top 100 legend with this midrange hunter and i’m going for top 1 legend in NA . The important thing to note is that I only use 3 epics and the rest are rare and common. It’s very budget. Tech cards: -1 golakka crawler +1 stampede Kodo (vs control) , -1 bittertide hydra +1 nesting roc (vs aggro).

Reading the comments I think i might replace rat pack with an animal companion but I’m still unsure.

also there is not a replace for kindly grandmother to be honest is a so necessary 2 drop but… you can try ravasaur runt, second dire alpha or 2 knife jugglers.

How is this a midrange deck when you barely have to trade with this deck. It’s an aggro/face deck.
not really, it’s a Midrange deck cause you actually trade a lot in early in order to win the game in 7-9 turn with hero power spam and kill command, for this meta 7-9 turns is a lot when a real aggro deck win the game in turn 5, there is a lot of difference, also you can win the value game with certain decks you cannot call a deck who can win the value game “aggro deck”.

Replace Rat Pack with Animal Companion, and you’re good to go..
sometimes is good but still a RNG card in order to win all my matches vs taunt warrior i cut animal companion i got 80% vs taunt warrior when is a “unfavorable match up” also you will get a bad tempo if you put animal c. cause a lot of 3 mana cards.
Why no animal companion?
cause animal companion is a RNG card in order to win all my matches vs taunt warrior and pirate (both decks spam in rank 5-1 the first week (when i reached legend) i decided to cut it, and works perfectly fine also if you try to put animal companion you will get a bad tempo cause a lot of cards of 3 mana.
