Mulligans
ETC contains: Potion of Illusion , Spice Bread Baker , Kobold Stickyfinger
Modified Hooktusk Rogue which focuses more on
the “steal all your opponents stuff” aspect. The goal is getting the
combo: Brann -> Mini-Scoundrel -> Hooktusk and then ideally
shadowstep and breakdance either just Hooktusk or both Mini-Scoundrel
and Hooktusk to completely empty their hand or deck.
For slower decks bouncing Brann/Scoundrel/Hooktusk via Potion of Illusion is also very good.
To reliably do that you wanna Mulligan for Pirates which are your
early game and draw. Raiding Party is one of the best cards to keep (especially
with Prep) since it allows you to refill and keep cycling with the
Cutlass which just functions as card draw and the occcasional early
removal.
Toggwaggles Scheme is there since against some decks you need
the extra bit of gas in the late game as well as it allows you to leave a 7/7 on board like Breakdance.
I’d almost classify this as a mill deck since vs draw-heavy decks, a
good strategy is just empty their deck during the Brann turn, but this
is not the norm.
ETC also has Stickyfinger which makes Kingsbane
Rogue an auto-win in many cases and helps dealing with decks that go face with weapons
(since Rogue famously lacks good options to stay alive).
