I just hit legend with a similar variation of this deck. -1 Truesilver, -1 Hammer of wrath, +1 Uther, +1 Zola.
The deck is significantly better with these changes for several reasons.
Why Uther?
1. With Uther you can heal yourself significantly, which is pretty important for this deck.
2. If you have played uther, you can then play the shirvallah OTK combo for 25 and then hit the face with weapon for 30 total.
3. Uther plus kangor = 10 healing.
Why Zola?
1. This allows you to play shirvallah, trade into a minion for +7 (or +14 with kangor) then you can copy shirvallah with zola. Therefore leaving you with a 7/5 lifesteal and a 2/2 on board without messing up your OTK combo.
2. If you are playing against a simple aggro deck then you can play Shirvallah + Zola and then play another shirvallah + Baleful banker. This give you 2 shirvallahs + zola + banker on board and a minimum of 14 healing. Basically enough to beat an simple aggro deck.
I had a 65% WR to legend from R4 despite making several misplays and throwing a bunch of games while learning the deck. In the right hands I feel like this deck could have a consistent WR of over 70% which is absolutely nuts.
what would you think of -1 hammer +1 elekk for more chances when u need shirvallah for heal?
I don’t know about running elekk because shuffling seems kind of slow. I subbed a prismatic lens (only had 1) for youthful brewmaster. You can bounce engineer for draw, Kangor after using a heal effect, shirvallah for heal after attacking or shuffle another copy of shirvallah into your deck with banker for 50 holy wrath in one turn if you need to. It’s been working for me and people never expect it
How do you use the prismatic lens ?
Any specific use apart from being a 4 mana draw 2 ?
You can’t control what it draws…so how else would you use it? No offense.
You keep track of what’s in your deck. That way you know what you have potential drawing into
Try to draw Shivallah before using it, but obviously if you’re running 2 there’s going to be games where you need to jam it. It sucks drawing Shivallah with it, and making the spell unplayable..
