Any replacements for Sylvanas and Faceless? I’ve subbed arcane golem with farseer..
Brann Bronzebeard, Abusive Sergeant, or Mind Control Tech.
Alextrasa Replacement?
I don’t know if you can replace it. You win a lot of your games with the Arcane Golem, Power Overwhelming, and Faceless Manipulator combo. Alexstrasza sets that up pretty nicely.
When you cannot use alextrasa you should probably not build around the combo. It might be a good idea to throw out the arcane golem, too. Replace both with good cards on their own. Mind control tech for example or farseer at the 3 slot. You can go with Jaraxxus when facing a lot of heavy control classes and its defenitly a good choice if you don’t want to use the alex combo. Harrison can be good when you face a lot of weapon heavy classes. You can also go with Kel’Thuzad or other heavy minions who can be solid on their own. Nefarian/Rafaaam or anything that might be good in your opinion. Kodo/azure drake can be good or maybe even saraad for fun. North sea kraken is the best card in the game anyway.
The decks is very solid and handles agro pretty well.
I’ve struggled with control matchups (Warrior and Elise Priest in particular).
They have always been outside of range of the Golem/Manipulator combo and they have fatigued me almost each time as I couldn’t create enough pressure.
Everything changed once I’ve replaced Defender with Elise. She didn’t seem to fit the idea of the deck at first but once I got to fight control decks she won me most games.
There are some cards you can’t utilize in control matchups (golem, demon wrath etc) and replacing them with legendries is a great deal.
Jaraxxus is good against control when they dry out your offensive minions and it’s almost unstoppable.
But it disables you from playing Reno and Molten in an effective way…
I don’t think that Jax will fit this mana curve. Elise is just an easy replacement for one of the 4 drops and it’s still a minion which will help you fight off aggro but Jax will be just a dead card most of the time and I can’t think of dropping any of high drops in this deck to fit him in.
