Somewhat aggressive/tempo heal druid package combined with beast package with Lucentbark as a top end reward.

Since the Crystal Stag is one of the powerful cards in the deck and is a beast, as well as Ornery Tortoise and Lifedrinker, I wanted to add Untamed Beastmaster as a way to potentially squeeze some extra value out of the minions.  To add one additional synergistic beast, I included Swamp Leach. Vicious Scalehide is also a candidate and I can see including it as another beast target that has lifesteal.

To ensure we take enough damage to heal up, there are Crystallizers, Ornery Tortoises and Pounce.  There is also the hero power, of course, although this deck will be curving out fairly frequently and unlikely to be able to hero power that often in the early game.

There’s several complimentary aspects of the healing package.

  • Most of the forms of healing in this deck will trigger Soup Vendor’s draw.
  • Crystallizer, Soup Vendor, Life Weaver and Ornery Tortoise have high health that can enable them to take value trades and get healed up by Potion Vendor, which would proc Lifeweaver if she’s in play.
  • The healing effects are either quite cheap (Crystal Power/Potion Vendor) or attached to bodies to maintain tempo and should enable an on curve Crystal Stag that summons two stags.

Essentially every minion in the deck makes a decent Flobbidinous Floop target, with Lucentbark being the most desirable. So if you have the time, you can wait til after Lucentbark is played in case it gets silenced or transformed. But if not, there’s plenty of other good targets.

Keeper Stalladris could be a bit questionable as there’s only 4 Choose One spells. Power of the Wild could be added to increase this and would increase the ability to sustain trades as well as putting pressure on the opponent if you secure the board. Lifeweaver can also generate some additional spell targets. I think if Stalladris duplicates one pair of spells that was probably average value and any more is just extra.  His main utility is allowing more damage spells to be run in the deck without taking up deck slots.
