Mulligans
Similar to other builds, this version mimics the traditional handlock deck by building a large hand early on with the hopes to drop a mountain giant on turn 3/4. With defile leaving standard, the deck’s AOE/removal hinges on shriek, soulfire and hellfire. The discard downside to these cards can be somewhat mitigated by the inclusion of 2 soulwardens. Against aggressive builds, the deck’s goal is to simply survive and outlast the opponent. Against slower builds, the goal is to play Betrug, then play plot twist and shuffle in a large enough hand so that you draw Hakkar (allowing you to shuffle in corrupted bloods upon his death), which you can then get rid of with Rafaam.
