New player here, what is the point of armani berserker in this deck?
If you hit him with your hero power it’s basically 2 mana 5/2.
4 mana 5/2*
Will it work without the weapon?
Your win-rate will be lower, but generally when you play Aluneth it’s because you’re behind, however, it will help keep your footing and stay ahead too.
It isn’t 100% necessary, especially for a budget deck. This deck can win turn 6 consistently, so swapping it out isn’t awful.
Looking for a legend player to give me a rundown on this deck against quest rogue. people say its great against them but I keep getting beaten. Other than that I’m 11-5 with this at rank 4
Hey Travis,
I used this deck from Rank 9 to Rank 2 this last season.
It’s really really good against Quest Rogue. I had a 100% win rate against it. Your objective is to get a single Explosive Rune and then it’s pretty easy. Make sure you kill everything they play and just keep smashing them. This deck can win turn 6, and counterspell can still do well as a turn 4/5 drop to keep them from casting the Quest.
vs Quest Rogue
Play creatures, play explosive rune, then win.
I just don’t get that 1 Berserker … the best 2 drop for curve reasons?
This deck looks identical to the Tempo Mage deck list bar the berserker for Bloodmage Thalnos. Looks like a 1 for 1 swap but the synergy comes with being being able to ping yourself into 5 attack
Still don’t get it … the deck sacrifices it’s board past … idk … turn 4 or 5 and tries to finish with card draw and burn. Yet it doesn’t play Thalnos but a creature that will at best deal 5 damage once.
But hey … #2 Legend. 😉
Went 16-3 from Rank 3 to legend with this deck. Can struggle against paladin and just ruins Warlock and Quest Rogue. Don’t be afraid to use Cinderstorm on an empty board to slam 5 face damage early on against slow decks.
Murloc Paladin was painful to play against, but I went something like 6-1 vs Warlock and 5-0 vs Rogue. Druids came up to about 50%.
