Mulligans
Aggro Mulligans
If you are facing a lot of odd paladins/rogues, even shamans, or any other aggro deck in the meta, a simple Thunderhead with overload will more than likely win your games outright.
Midrange Mulligans
Drawing our 1-4 drops is pretty important against midrange decks like even shaman and tempo rogue to secure our board lead early on and snowball into the later game with our bigger elementals to close it out.
Control Mulligans
Against more control matchups like warlock or priest we want to be maintaining some board presence while at the same time generating a lot of value in our hands for the later game. I will usually keep a Hex if I draw it, but i'm not looking for it too much.
Shaman
A new take on an old favorite! This elemental shaman deck will out value and out tempo every deck in the meta! So far this deck has served me well with a 62% win rate at rank 4 and still climbing to legend! (I will post an update when I reach it with this deck)
Notable combos:
Thunderhead + Zap!/ Lightning Bolt = Dead aggro!
Menacing Nimbus/ Servant of Kalimos + Bog Slosher= Value!
Murmuring Elemental + Kalimos, Primal Lord / Blazecaller= Burst!
And just for the tempo plays, all of our minions above 3 mana (with the exception of Bog Slosher are all 5 health and more which is the sweet spot in this meta to put them above cards like Flanking Strike and Truesilver Champion
So blow off the dust on your elementals and start beating down your opponents before a lot of these wonderful cards rotate out of standard!
Kinda sucks vs rush decks
On the contrary, this deck excels vs them. As i mentioned in the mulligans, if you look for your thunderhead + overload spells you can completely take over board control and then your 5-8 mana cost minions can help maintain board control. Tar Creeper and Tolvir Stoneshaper are other great minions to stop aggressive decks like odd rogue, midrange hunter, even shaman, etc, as well.
