General Mulligans

In the early game you want to STALL until mid-game. Use board control spells to achieve this, use Hero Power to heal early damage. Cards like Shadow Word Horror are surprisingly good vs Aggro here. Shadow Word Pain is pretty standard for early control.

Depending on your match up, what you want to put into Resurrect will change. If you are battling Aggro, get a Priest of the Feast into a loop quickly to regain health and board control. Battling a Control deck you will use Shift Shade. Sometimes you may be unable to get those two cards. Nexus-Champion played on Tempo with turn 5 is okay. Nexus-Champion in a resurrection loop can create crazy value over time for Yogg-Saron.

This deck combines Resurrect and Yogg-Saron into a fun control deck for Ladder.

Keep Shifting Shade, Priest of the Feast, or Nexus-Champion in a Resurrection loop for board control while building up for Yogg-Saron.

Mind Games works well, can also be used as a back up plan if you do not have Shift Shade / Feast Priest. Playing Control decks, you can sometimes summon a huge minion. Shadow Madness should be used for board control early as well. Just be careful to not kill any weak minions on yourself with the spell. It can ruin your Resurrection pool. You probably noticed there is a lot of “stealing” associated with this deck, which makes it fun in my opinion. You can sometimes get great spells or just some minions to play to fill your board.

Late game cards like Entomb should be used on big minions you want to take and use. (Ragnaros, Ysera, etc.) Or can be used to just remove a large minion the opponent just buffed. Mind control can win you games vs C’Thun decks, just Mind Control their C’Thun and the game is won.

What is this supposed to beat? I am trying to make priest work on ladder, but I really don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Some video of this deck being played might help, it is just way too slow to compete at least at my rank in North America.

Missing 1 Mindgames and 1 Forbidden Shaping. Any good suggestions for replacement? I just added two Blademasters. Not really pleased with it.

Nevermind, managed to get a GOLDEN Mindgames today from a pack. Needless to say I was ecstatic and immediately crafted the 2nd Forbidden Shaping. Deck is super fun to play, thank you!
