Eh, it’s a little weird because it’s a mirror effect, so technically it’s not explicitly bad or good for you, but because of the nature of the deck, when your cards are so low in cost on average, it makes card draw a much stronger effect on your side.
What I mean, for example, if you’re playing against a control deck and you draw them 2 extra cards that cost 6-7 mana, they might never have a chance to spend all of that mana, effectively missing out on value. On the other hand, if you’re drawing 2 low cost cards that you can play out, and then the additional fact that you WANT your opponent to have a full hand with the Divine Favor synergy.
It’s not only a good card, I would consider it essential to this deck.
How does everyone feel about the coldlights? I think that they can be taken out for something, Also, Finja? I’,m feeling a little suspect about it and think I want to switch it for a leeroy as a finisher.
I’ve use leroy instead of finja as I don’t have it yet and it works great often leroy comes out at 8-4 and as you can imagine is much harder to deal with also I have used murloc knights instead of oracles as they almost always draw Finja anyways π
Seems good for people like me who made the new shaman deck and then realised that its not that good, since this one is easily convertible from that one.
I’ve been having good luck with it. Against midrange and control I’ve been muligan-ing for the grimestreet cards along with cheap minions, play on curve, empty hand, refill with Divine Favor or Small-Time Recruits. Against aggro, it’s been a little tougher since playing a grimestreet card can be too slow, but I’ve ran a few pirate warriors out of steam. I have the hardest time with jade druid decks, but I can’t tell if it’s from getting bad starting hands or if jade lotus decks are just an idea counter to the great murloc army.
It is fun to watch the much-hyped dragon priest clear your board with dragonfire potion, only for you to refill it completely from hand.
I don’t like the Coldlights. This deck has plenty of draw already, and giving your opponent the resources to deal with your board and build their own is pretty bad.
I replaced them with a Wicerflame Burnbristle and a Murloc knight, making the deck a bit more midrange.
But u might draw murlocs out of murlocs, that’s the thing. And instead of 4 mana + 2 for activation of Murloc Knight, u pay 3 mana and drawback of giving cards to your opponent shouldn’t matter because u will kill him anyway

Coldlight Oracle may seem like an obvious include but I refuse to play/do anything that helps my opponent draw a card if I can avoid it, yet alone 4…

Novice Engineer is great in buff decks, might actually be better in some cases since you draw immediately.

This deck isn’t very effective against Jade decks.
