General Mulligans
Just basic aggro cards to get you started. Diligent Notetaker is a fantastic card to keep as it can combo with Lightning Bloom and Storm's Wrath to just steal games. It also works well late game with cards like Lava Burst to finish off your opponent.
This deck is essentially a faster version of Totem Shaman. The new cards Lighting Bloom and Intrepid Initiate offer really good early game tempo, Diligent Notetaker is an extremely good finisher or value card at any stage in the game, and Voracious Reader and Instructor Fireheart are fantastic comeback cards. Devolving Missiles is not necessary and could be cut for other cards like Evil Totem or Sandstorm Elemental, but it is very good silence removal. Other than that, this is pretty much old school Overload Shaman and works just as well.
Great deck. I cut the squallhunter and a cumulo-maximus for 2x blazing battlemage, both seem a little too clunky and squall is a little too low-synergy with cards like devolving and rockbiter. I like that battlemage gives the deck more turn one consistency and more targets for storms wrath. Although I have to say my favorite shaman deck with with a burn win condition is quest shaman right now, and it has the benefit of being able to out control some decks too.
