Mulligans
General Mulligans
Any of the 2 Cost cards, Cold Case, and ETC are all pretty much always good.
Right now, I have Wildfire, Steamcleaner, and Potion of Illusion sidedecked.
I originally just made this deck for fun but I’ve found a surprising amount of success with it, getting up to Diamond (wow) with this and an aggro deck I play to keep myself sane. This deck wins through some combination of tempo and burn and can fish for early kills or keep going through a lot of disruption.
I hope you enjoy this deck, because I’ve put a lot of time into fine tuning it! X3
- Astalor Bloodsworn It’s in every deck because it’s good. It’s in this deck now because I opened a copy :3
- Conjure Mana Biscuit Mainly just helps Multicaster be more consistent but can also help on turns you want to play a lot of spells.
- Imprisoned Phoenix
This card is so important for this deck. I can’t sing enough praises
for it. Depending on what you draw it can draw cards, deal lethal burn
damage, clear the board, and fill your own board with Skeletons. - Siphon Mana This deck has a lot of troublesome cards to get out of the hand but this makes it so much easier.
- E.T.C. Band Manager Being able to get Wildfire from this means so much. Beyond it making your hero power frankly ridiculous, it gets Mordresh Fire Eye online much easier. I’ve gotten niche use out of the other cards but I pretty much always take Wildfire.
- Polymorph
- Mountain Giant Occasionally wins games earlier than anything else here can.
Cut from my last build:
- Celestial Emissary, cosmic anamoly; I put these together because they have the same problem
- Flame Geyser Kinda difficult to get out of the hand and doesn’t add as much to the deck as other 2 Cost options.
- Life Sentence; I replaced it with Polymorph to mess up res pools and for the extra synergy with Deathborne but the cards are more or less equal.
- Grand Finale Too slow and difficult to set up. It has helped close out games, so I don’t think it’s completely worthless but it doesn’t work well.
