I took my Even Elemental Mage to rank 3 this month (pre-Rumble), which isn’t bad for a meme deck. I think this archetype will be good, but I think the list will look very different from this one. I too was running Shifting Scroll and the nerfed Mana Wyrm at first, but I really don’t think they work in the good version of this deck. I recommend the Spellstone + Leyline Manipulator package. It plays into the tribal synergy, and more specifically with Shimmering Tempest and Steam Surger. I don’t think Celestial Emissary and Water Elemental are efficient for your tempo needs. I wouldn’t run Aluneth, but I constantly underestimate that card, so I’m probably wrong. I’d also consider a Blizzard. My list has a couple of other differences, but I think you’re on a good track, and theory-crafting makes fools of us all. I think it’s a little slow, but I will absolutely test your Spellzerker idea because it looks fun.
