Mulligans
Control Mulligans
Against Control decks, its less important to keep board clears, so you can hang onto your threats, and maybe even your combo pieces.
The goal of this deck: to play double Galvanizers with Mecha'thun in your hand, then on the following turn to drop Mecha'thun, and play Bloodbloom into Cataclysm with no cards in your deck, to win the game! The rest of the cards in the deck are there to draw cards and clear the board. Once you have Bloodbloom and both Galvanizers in hand, you can drop Hemet, Jungle Hunter to thin the deck considerably, and lead you too getting the rest of the combo and to fatigue. Running Evenlock over normal control is to discount the hero power and draw more cards. Unlike with the druid version of the C’Thun combo, it is okay to have cards sitting in your hand, as they all get discarded by Cataclysm, which is why Mountain Giants, Twisting Nether, Hemet, Jungle Hunter, and Genn Greymane are able to fit in, even though they cost a lot and may be unplayable in the late game.
Really cool !
I don’t know how it’ll stack up in the new meta, but I can hope!
