General Mulligans
Fire Fly and Glacial Shard are both high-value one drops that are good to get out early in the game. Ruby Spellstone is nice because the sooner you have it in your hand, the faster you will be able to play it for maximum value and effect. Pyros is a good early drop that allows you to guarantee a turn 6 drop, and tar creeper is a good defensive drop for shutting down early boards.
This deck is all about minions. While it does have spells, these are mostly removal or card draw/generation. Notable cards include book of specters, which makes this deck possible. Without this card, you would have next to no card draw. Because this deck is mostly minions, it is quite solid value. While it is fairly likely to delete at least one spell, the pace it allows you to go at makes this deck usable. With Frostlich Jaina for late game recovery and minion generation, pyros for slot value, and spellstone making up for the lack of spells by getting more into your hand, this deck is fairly well balanced.
