Mulligans
Hey guys!
Recently i’ve been thinking back to the good old Confuse priest, pioneered by RageHS some while ago. (Insanely creative deck builder btw)
I thought that maybe i could make it work in a similar way with the new release Void Ripper, and i came up with a few results. Some were bad, some were OK, but i can’t seem to find a way to make it work consistently.
That’s why i would really love some advice on this from u guys π
It works quite similar to the Divine Spirit/Inner Fire deck that f.ex Asmodai have been playing a lot, but i just think it would be so cool to base the build around the Void Ripper + Then those Geists wont snatch your Inner Fires
As you might understand i just made this thing yesterday, so i cant really give a bulletproof mulligan guide and such, but with the high health minions and the Divine Spirits you can really blow up your opponent!
The Hozen Healers are often a big surprise factor, and themselves can be used as a combo piece since they have high health. Your opponent tends to focus on killing the drakonids, and bam! Divine Spirit on both + the Void Ripper equals 24 dmg. Throw in a Power Word: Shield, and u got an OTK π These guys also work soo good with Embrace the Shadow , as it is an insta kill on any minion u like. 6-mana kill any minion is quite OP.
The Void Ripper can also clear annoying aggressive board in combination with Pint-Size PotionTwist their health to 0 and dead π
The Stormwatcher is a 1-of, but it has proven to be amazingly good against priest! Withe the buffs this ting can do 32!! damage on it’s own.
Otherwise it’s more or less a standard control priest. Draw cards with Acolyte of Pain, Northshire Cleric, Wild Pyromancer and Circle of Healing
There is also some dragon synergy that very much comes in handy in many occasions! Drakonid Operative can fetch some serious goodies, and not to mention the Twilight Acolyte in combo with the Book Wyrm or simply to weaken a big enemy to make it vulnerable for Potion of Madness f.ex
Faceless Shambler has been a lifesaver in many games so far. Simply taunt up your Twilight Drake or your buffed Hozen Healer and your opponent has a wall to get through
I hope you guys will give this a try, and PLEASE come with suggestions. I know it’s not nearly optimized, so i would love to hear some ideas for changes!
I do not expect to get high ranked with this, but it is insanely fun π
Cheers!
