Mulligans
General Mulligans
Pretty much any card that grants you extra mana crystals is an absolute keep. Even tho it may seem powerless and weak to begin with, this deck will definitely pay you back for the investments.
Aggro Mulligans
Still focus on ramping up, but it might be smart to keep a Loot Hoarder or a Wrath just for the early trades.
Control Mulligans
Ramp. Ramp. Ramp. I sometimes keep Curator in slow matchups if my hand has alot of ramp cards.
Here have you my version of the “BIG EZ Druid” or whatever it’s called nowadays.
It has a lot of ramp: 2x Wild Growth 1x Jade Blossom 2x Mire Keeper and 2x Nourish
The main goal in this type of deck is to hit your ramp cards (as listed over) as early as possible! This deck has alot of heavy minions, and you wanna be playing them as fast as possible. Right?
The early game basically consists of ramping up! Wrath, Barnes, Swipe and Loot Hoarder are still good keeps in the agro matchups. I tend to keep Barnes in almost every matchup. He is a key card to getting that head start, as you might be so lucky to get an Ysera or The Lich King, or might get the Giant Anaconda with Deathwing in hand. The possibilities are limitless!
As you eventually proceed to the mid/late game and you’re stacked up on a good amount of mana and cards, you just start dropping bomb after bomb and eventually hammer your opponent down with the overwhelming power your minions provide.
Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound and Deathwing, Dragonlord are the absolute powerhorses in this deck! The amount of dragons makes it almost impossible for Deathwing, Dragonlord to not get value. And Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound pretty much always digs up something good.
The Curator often guarantees two draws, because i run Ironbeak Owl as i think silence is pretty strong in the current meta.
So ramp up, and slam them down!
Have fun 🙂
