Echo’s take on the “UtherZodia” OTK Control Paladin

Hey! Here is my take on the Exodia OTK Pala.

This is one of my absolute favorite decks to play at the moment!

The gameplan varies a bit depending on the matchups, but the combo for the One Turn Kill consists of Burgly Bully‘s getting you coins so that you can summon Uther of the Ebon Blade‘s four horsemen with the help of Auctionmaster Beardo.

Now, it isn’t necessarily always as easy as it might seem! 

This deck relies on the classic Control Paladin elements such as Equality, Consecration, Truesilver Champion, Tirion Fordring and so on.

When facing Agro you’re gonna wanna dump your Righteous Protectors, Doomsayers, Stonehill Defenders and Wickerflame Burnbristle and you should be coming out triumphant in the end, although when it comes to the control matches you’ll really have the edge with Uther of the Ebon Blades hero power and the combo potential.

Try to be careful when playing against Rogues and Mages as in when you are playing your  Burgly Bully. They run a lot of spells and can sometimes fill your hand with coins and you’ll might end up burning one of the combo pieces.

Two coins from the Burgly Bullys and one secret from Hydrologist is enough to make the OTK! It’s super fun and a great time when it works out, but as i mentioned over ^, this deck often just wins matches by being the greedy ol’ Control Pala as it is. 

Replacable cards: 

Skulking Geist I have this in the deck solely to beat Jade Druids, and it’s also good against Priest.

Gluttonous Ooze I think weapon removal is simply good in the current meta.

Righteous Protector Strictly a anti agro tool. 

Wickerflame Burnbristle Serves the same purpose as the Protectors. Amazing against agro.
