Mulligans
General Mulligans
All of these cards are amazing, so long as you take your opponents class into consideration, take aoe for short game aggro, and heavy hitters/combo setups vs long game fatigues.
Just dupe it! xD this deck is all about early control with basilisk, creeper, Hellfire and Dreadlord… Then cubing or setting up for dupes into lategame while burning your opponents removal so they dont just destroy your Glinda, these combos are so important that I sometimes cube portal and/or glinda after securing board with them up if I know the burst or AoE is coming. Then I can recover with glinda and or umbra while portals are up and dupe or cube beetles or damage for the win.Ratcatcher is also very strong for hairy situations with glinda as it costs 1 and you can keep restacking it over a beetle or even a mountain giant for 10/10 rushes. This deck is full of opportunities and gimmicks. Consistently fun to play. When mulliganing you want to take your opponents class into consideration. For instance ill go defensive with dreadlord and or hellfires then wait for my opportunity to do the most damage and start cubing/setting up. Priest and fatigue warrior tho you can just try to mulligan for late game as you dont need so much control.
I made this deck when witchwood first came out and the new standard set in.. I believe its the first of its kinda that uses beetles this way being able to combo them and receive so much armor in one turn sometimes 24+… Have also been toying with the idea of removing a doomguard due to discard, and no easy way to get it out besides dorian.. Replacing with leeroy. Cant afford atm.
