2019 Election Priest

This is a great meta deck for climbing the wild ladder. It has a control dragon package for dealing with aggro decks and combines it with the inner fire package great against midrange and control decks. This deck is great in any meta that relies heavily on control and aggro decks to win. Don’t be afraid to use your combo pieces to buff your minions in the early game in this deck, as there is enough redundancy that you should be fine.

Your combo with this deck is using inner fire in combination with Helen’s chosen and divine spirit to create large minions early in the game for a large tempo swing and usually the win.

Numbers to remember with double divine spirit inner fire: 5 health = 20 damage, 6 health = 24 damage, 7 health = 28 damage, 8 health = lethal (32 damage)

Here are my current matchups with this deck:

Odd rogue: 8-1

Odd rogue gets destroyed by duskbreaker, twilight guardian, and turns potion of madness into a 2 for 1. This matchup is easy as long as you mulligan everything away to get to your control pieces.

Kingsbane Rogue: 14-2

Kingsbane rogue is very similar to odd rogue, in that if you mulligan for your control pieces you should be fine. Against kingsbane, you should be playing for the long game, establishing big minions and eventually winning with your combo after you deal with their threats.

Mill Rogue: 2-0

Mill rogue can not efficiently deal with your threats as long as you save your combo all for one turn. Remember in this matchup that you can potion of madness their doomsayer or deathlord along with your combo pieces for an easy lethal.

Btw, this deck is named the way it is because you pretend yo build a wall and then win in another way.
