You want to get your powerful minions and your weapon as early as possible.
I used this deck in Standard Format before the new season started and it got really good results (up to level 6, not playing so often) even in the previous aggressive meta. Maybe it will not adjust well in the new meta, but in my opinion if a deck can beat the Druid Double Combo and Secret Paladin, i think it might be super powerful in Standard Mode where these decks are gone.
It does not use any of the cards from the new extension but i thought they would not fit in a tempo deck like this one.

The deck works quite well in the new meta but a few cards from the Old gods are really useful.
Blood to Ichor and Bloodhoof Brave.
It’s actually quite similar to the popular Tempo Warrior we see these days. The difference being that the card draw comes from the minions directly (Azure Drake) instead of the Whirlwind + battle rage + Acolyte of pain. So your card advantage is less dependant on having minions staying on the board, but it doesn’t have the crazy Combo with Frothing Berserker.
